The Merah Putih Initiative (TMPI) is a non-government institution, formed out of a deep commitment to addressing Indonesia’s evolving policy environment. Our mission is to set a new benchmark
on how the country's policy priorities are designed, executed, and improved.
As national policy priorities expanded in scale and ambition, many lacked clear public articulation and faced challenges in grassroots execution, resulting in suboptimal impact despite their long-term importance.
TMPI exists to close these gaps and strengthen how policy intent translates into credible development outcomes.

Our work is delivered through three laboratories.
District Labs serves as our local (Kabupaten/Kota) execution hubs. This is where our policy initiatives are piloted, refined, and prepared for scale.

The Merah Putih Initiative’s (TMPI) soft launch brought together our ecosystem of collaborators in an intimate gathering of shared purpose and meaningful conversations.
