Education is one of the key impact areas we work at TMPI. Through District Labs, TMPI is supporting the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) in the development of Indonesia’s National Integrated School. We echo a shared mission: every student, regardless of the kabupaten or kota in which they are born, should have access to high-quality and affordable education.
Critical to our support to the Ministry, TMPI initiated a series of national and global benchmarking visits to enhance understanding of competitive education models, the design and management of high-quality schools, and what it takes to build schools that are both excellent and accessible—thoughtfully designed around the needs of students, teachers, and surrounding communities.
A privilege of learning from schools that exemplify these qualities, including from Inspirasi Schools in East Java, Indonesia as well as Mingwan School in Shenzhen and the American International School in Guangzhou, China.
