Laban Laisila is an Indonesian award-winning journalist, strategic communications practitioner, and public engagement specialist with more than two decades of experience in journalism, policy communication, crisis handling, and civic engagement. He has worked extensively on issues related to governance, democracy, climate, environment, and social policy, collaborating with media organizations, civil society groups, government institutions, and international partners across Asia and Europe.
Laban is also one of the initiators of a regional coalition of professional media and civil society networks in Southeast Asia, focusing on collaboration, information integrity, and public interest communication. He regularly serves as trainer, speaker, and communications advisor on strategic narrative, audience engagement, and media resilience.
